Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay?

Once you have contacted Ciao Bella Idaho Wine Tours, LLC, a representative will contact you to finalize details of your tour. At that time, you will receive notification of how to make payment. All major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card) and debit cards are accepted as well as Venmo payments and of course, we also accept personal checks and cash.

Do you do private tours?

Yes, if you reserve the tour date for 10-12 guests, it will be a private tour, upon request. If you reserve fewer than 10 spots on our van, we can accept additional groups to fill the vehicle.

Are you available for next-day tours?

Absolutely if there is room on the tour. Call us at (208) 506-8586 to check availability.

Do you accommodate corporate or special events?

Most definitely! Contact us for special pricing for corporate or special events: (208) 506-8586 or Info@CBIdahoWineTours.com.

Which wineries do you visit?

The wineries will vary each day based on your individual group’s dynamics. A few wineries are only open a few days a week while others are open daily. We do take requests for large group reservations, but for smaller groups we will plan out an itinerary.

Are tasting fees included?

Yes! We include tasting fees, tax and wine attendant gratuities at up to three wineries in your tour cost.

Is lunch included?

Many of the wineries do have food for purchase, so please check their websites for more information. Some wineries also have local food trucks scheduled on weekends.

Should we bring chairs for outside seating?

Depending on the weather, outside seating could be the most enjoyable area to hang out and enjoy wine. Some of the wineries have outdoor seating. In the event they do not, Ciao Bella Idaho Wine Tours, LLC will provide a comfortable chair for everyone!

Is it cool to take notes and photos?

Definitely! The tasting rooms are staffed by people who know and love the Sunnyslope Wine Region and their wines. Ask questions, take photos of your favorite bottles, jot down winery information and capture tasting notes. A full day of wine tasting generates a lot of information.

Is it ok to use the wine dump bucket?

Yes. Small tastes of wine can add up. It is perfectly acceptable to pour out the remaining wine in your glass after taking a sip of wine you do not care for or a quantity you do not want.

Are winery Club Memberships available?

Absolutely! If you enjoy wine, there are many benefits to becoming a member at one or more wineries, such as no wine tasting fees or reduced costs for wine tasting, discounts on bottles of wine and special events just for members. Feel free to ask any of the winery attendants as they are more than happy to share that information with you.

If I purchase some wine, can I bring it on the van?

Absolutely. We encourage you to purchase wine on this tour, especially as soon as you taste something you enjoy. There will be a temperature-controlled container for wine bottles to be safely stored (tags and labels will be provided to identify each guest’s purchases) during your tour. But remember, no open containers of alcohol are permitted in the van.

Will there be any COVID19 precautions?

We reserve the right to deny participation for anyone with an elevated temperature or showing signs of illness. This is for the safety of all participants. Masks are not mandatory according to Canyon County and Ada Canyon regulations, but are welcomed by anyone wanting to wear one. If you are not feeling well on the day of your tour, please let us know and we will make every attempt to reschedule for a future date.
