Idaho is home to a fast-growing wine industry with terrific wines. The Pacific Northwest, with beautiful mountain ranges and incredible rivers, including the well known Snake River, provide a perfect area for growing grapes. Moderate climate, limited precipitation and a consistent growing season allow for a wide variety of grapes and wines. The winter season allows the vines to go dormant which improves the overall health of the vineyards.
